A 3-day holiday would make a great weekend but the intrusion of someone into my house almost 24/7 in the past 3 days caused me a handful amount of sleepless nights. I had to literally changed all my locks in the house, almost to thinking of shifting away from Taman Muda! That old man. Plus, I got really demotivated from my job thanks to a special someone. Not only that she can't see my effort in it, her choice of words really made me turned off with my job. Hence, my scarce update on the blog for this week. Sorry guys.

Anyway, my recent interests include:

(c) Japanese Language

Seems like I have one too many hobbies in my hands, whoops hahah. It's a good thing though, at least they keep me busy, not thinking of those "Siu Yan"s.

Ghost Season 2

I'm hooked with this Malay series on 8TV called Ghost since its first season. I mean, who would've thought that a Malaysian tv series to be that interesting? Season 1 was about Eza (Cheryl Samad) trying to solve the case about Zack Imran's death (which sounds so much like Zac Efron it's not funny) and somehow Eza is able to see his spirit because there is a connectivity between her and Zack. Well, season 2 has a new case, the (new) death of a girl called Harom and several other new characters. My only comment is this tattoo or scar on Harom's wrist when she was left dead. The pattern is exactly the same with the one on The Book of Shadows in Charmed. Oh, come on, can't they think of a new pattern?

Plus, the theme song is so emo, it's a bomb! It's called Masih Jua from Douglas Lim and Chelsia Ng. I've only managed to find the opening credit of season 1 on Youtube, still it's worth a listen.

先週から、しょくちゅうどくがあります。たぶんBonanzaのときNando'sをたべましまｔから。今までいつもおてあらいへいっています。Nando'sから三つしょくちゅうどくがあります。そして、Nitrotechとたんぱくをたべすぎて、からだがあつくなりました。このコンビがとてもげんきではありません。ペンチですよ！

Turns out that I've had food poisoning since my meal at Nando's during Bonanza last week. WTF. This is not even the first time I've had food poisoning due to my eating at Nando's. Twice happened when I had to present my VIVA, both first and second, last year. Man, that was devastating. I still remembered that I was literally hugging the toilet bowl just to vomit and having diarrhea for a week. Twice. During my VIVA.

Anyway, I've been passing gasses a lot (I mean a lot), down with fever, as bloated as a goldfish, diarrhea, neauseatic and extremey dehydrated. I finally couldn't bear with it, I had to get a half-day MC today. Besides, all the Nitrotech and egg white diet makes constant farting a whole new meaning to it.

So there is a flock of Spring/Summer fashion shows going on in shopping malls lately. I tried going to Sungei Wang Plaza on Saturday but I couldn't make it due to my tenaga kerbau, almost making my DSLR gone kapoot, but luckily it's alright now. Hence I went for the Sunday show, though I was late for the female shows (Mell by Melinda Looi and among others) I'd managed to get a front seat(woot!) for the male shows.

This set of photos is dedicated to you, yes you, Christy Phang hahaha. Someone's drooling over the SMSes, dying to see the male models....

Kwan. Kwan's actually my favourite Malaysian label as Daniel Cho (the chief designer) integrates oriental style and slight bohemian into his designs. Plus Kwan's the only label that has T-shirts my size, though some of them are really deep v-necked.

今回のBonanzaはおもしろかったです。The Bonanza for this time was fun.

雨がふっていたのに、Even when it rained,

いつも人がこんでいます。It was always crowded.

そして、友達たちもたくさんあいました。I had met several friends while I was at the outlet. Nanie whom I had not seen since SPM, SuYin whose currently working at HSBC Amanah on the opposite shoplot and Kim who works at the nearby slimming centre.

おとくいさんもたくさにました。There were many regular customers who came four days in a row. Some even came on lunch and dinner at the same day. There was even a regular customer who has got a toy boy tagged along, creepy! Hahaha.

四日までみんあももうつかれました。おつかれさまでした！ありがとうね！Everyone must be really tired after the Bonanza, so here's a big THANK YOU to you guys!

I met Daniel and Jessie at Pavilion for a quick lunch and a tell-all the other day. There were so many scandalous gossips to tell, I bet they must've been shocked....

So I'm back from 4 days of bonanza and it was interesting! Will blog more about that later, once I've gotten enough sleep heheheh. Plus my shopping for clothes tomorrow too hahaha. Jangan jealous.

I'm always a big fan of James Bond movies including their theme songs. My favourites would be Chris Cornell's (of Audioslave) You Know My Name and Garbage's The World Is Not Enough (My #1 fave!). Madonna's Die Another Day isn't that bad either. And who would forget Tina Turner's Goldeneye? However, Alicia Keys and Jack White (of The White Stripes) theme for Quantum of Solace (Another Way to Die) had been a disappointment for me, sigh. Still, James Bond's the man, y'all. Who could make an action movie so tasteful and stylish? Who could forget the Aston Martins too? I'd still remember sneaking into my parents' room to watch VHSes of James Bond movies. And falling asleep watching Casino Royale with Greg, YeanSeen, Tracy and Lillian because I was too tired working with Sunway Hotel back then. Ahh, those were the days.

DanielちゃんはBTSのじょうきゃくさまです。この子はえい語とマレー語はじょうずにはなせます。DanielちゃんのふぼはいつもとなりのBowling AlleyでBowlingをしています。フレンドリーだし、Danielちゃんはとてもかわいいです。先週はじめてあって、Danielちゃんにはやくともだちにつくりました。かれはけいたいでんわとデジカメをほしがっています。はたらいて、Danielちゃんにしゃしんをとられたんです。
Daniel's a regular customer in Berjaya Times Square and he speaks fluent English and Malay languages. His parents are always hanging out at the bowling alley next to our outlet. The curious,friendly boy approached me last week and we became instant friends! We talked about mobile phones and digital cameras. He even took a picture of me while I was working.

Now this is one of the reasons I love my job, despite other negativities that come along. Just look at the better picture.

Went to a few shopping malls today to run some errands and had a chance to have dinner with Amber and Jarrod. We went to this modern style Chinese restaurants that served ramen and dim sum which Ms. Becky recommended. The ambience was so nice and I was so semangat to snap some photos of the restaurant when I realised that I forgot to bring my CF memory card along. Sigh.

1. Metallic jacket! It's so D&G, man. I went to Sungei Wang today hopefully that I could get a cheap, chaplang, lala version of the jacket there, but those cost a bomb too.

3. HP Mini 1000! No more paperwork Fridays! Wakakakak! Too bad that it's not suitable for Photoshop application because the specifications are not strong enough, or else it would be the best. I went to PC Fair with Chua last Saturday and it seems like HP minis are getting cheaper but the Vivienne Tam edition is so not worth it.

Chemistry has a new album and it's called [Chemistry Joint]. The album is practically features collaboration song between Chemistry and other artists. My favourite would be with Tomita Lab's ずっと読みかけの夏.

Chemistry has grown a lot since their debut with "Pieces Of A Dream". Their songs are ever-emotional (最後の川, Top of The World, Life Goes On Side K, So In Vain, Your Name Never Gone, 輝く夜 and others) and they are indeed top notch.

I'm totally in love with all Calvin Harris' remixes except for "The Girls", which I prefer Dragonette's "The Boys". His remixes on Jamiroquai's "Canned Heat" and The Ting Ting's "Great DJ" are simply superb. Ain't those cheap technos you heard from those Pandan Indah Pasar Malam, hahaha. Utada Hikaru has a new English song from her second English album which is called "Come Back To Me", which sounds pretty meh, I'm sorry to say. I'd still like her in her Japanese songs. India Arie's "Chocolate High" with Musiq Soulchild isn't a new song, but it grows rapidly in me since I first listened to it last week. Sugababes' "The Girls" is a catchy one, but too bad that their recording company doesn't do them justice, hence their decreasing popularity now. Besides that, Amuro Namie's "Wild" is made the new music theme for Coca-Cola's Zero commercial. Jay'ed's "最後の優しさ" is the best single I heard from him since "Superwoman".

Music aside, I'm now downloading Napoleon Dynamite. Any good?

I'm too fucked pissed with her. I seriously do. I had very tiring days not being at home since Monday, and all I wanted to do is finish my homework and claims before tomorrow, but all she does is whining, nagging and complaining over fucking petty things that I am lagging her precious 5 minutes time because I would bother her watching movie, surfing the Internet and sleeping. She said it on her own mouth. Come onla, I can do the things myself, and I don't even need her help either. She even detested grandmother to attend my convocation. To be honest, grandmother has more rights than her to attend my convo. She even demotivates me on my job that I am currently working. She always claim that she will forsee that she will die soon because of her freaking "third eye", that I need to appreciate her as much as I can. When I complained about to her husband about her madness at home, all the husband did was just a simple "Uhuh" and "Oh I see" and that was it. She would even divide her territories between her food and mine, that I would finish up her food and she couldn't eat them when she is hungry as if we are not even related at all, just merely housemates. I remembered the day she faked her suicide when there was a problem between her and the her husband in my house. And that day was the day I gotten my SPM results, a supposedly joyous day. She blamed on her failed marriage on grandmother and her giving birth to me, only that she wouldn't say so now, because I am grown up and able to earn for myself, so now it's more onto blaming on my grandmother. I pity my grandmother because she doesn't know that she is heavily blamed for nothing.

I have bear so much all these years, studying so hard for a degree that I am not even keen on, and taking extra academic studies and extra-curricular activities, just to prove that I am still able to make it on my own without them. Only my grandmother was behind me throughout, not them at all. I had tried to talk to her about my disinterest in Food Science & Nutrition but she demotivated me again. So much for being a parent. Although my grandmother forced me into a degree program that I am disinterested on, but she has been supporting me so much. Hence my grandmother is the one who deserves to be at my convo rather than her.

She complained that I am too fat, that I won't get married, that I will die early, fine I'll just hit the gym. Now she complains that I would become gay due to my physical figure and would fear that I'll be impotent because of my nutrition.

I can't stand faking my happiness and joy at home and at the office, it's almost to an extend of being too childish. I seriously hate myself sometimes for being so fake, of not being my own character. But, if I don't things would have gotten even worse. I would rather stay outside the house as late as possible, not going back home and facing her. She would force me with her fake tears that she will move out if I don't listen to her.

I can't believe someone who supposedly to be my closest of kin would have been such an ass. I can't stand living with her. No wonder her circle of friends are all divas and have attitudes. Things were at best when she was not in Malaysia and not living with me. I'm shocked that I would be so angry with a person.

So I'm watching this pirated DVD I bought at Pasar Malam called "Be My Guest" interviewing Gillian Chung. I bet it's all about her naked pictures with Edison Chen. Steamy steamy! The cover even has her sitting and shedding her tears. Sometimes I think it sounds pretty cheesy when I translate the blog entries from Japanese to English because their language structures are different. Also, my mum's ringtone (Chorus for Exile's Ti Amo) is the same with mine. It's freaking complicated to differentiate which phone is actually ringing when someone calls. Ti Amo is my favourite song from Exile, although Fuyu Monogatari's video is quite the same with Ti Amo (involving intimate bed scene, hehehs..). The male actor from the music video (Yanaka Atsushi) is actually one of the members in Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra. Yanaka san is the saxophonist in the band. I think Ti Amo's music video has a pretty interesting concept.

Without further ado, here are the photos from yesterday as promised. A few of the garments were actually not so new, as I noticed. I wonder if the recent economic recession has something to do with it, heheh. Some of the models were quite co-operative; looking at the camera and even smiling to us(the long haired tan girl, Mat Salleh guy and this chinese male model called EIGHT,Lapan,八、はち), but some were not so (blondie's been giving us (or maybe me) attitude man, she refused to look at the camera, AT ALL). I met Ser on my way there, but unfortunately he could not make it for the fashion show. Worry not dude, there are two more fashion shows on the next weekend at the same time!

Quite busy today, so I'll only blog in English. Myself and PickKoon had this training called "Train the Trainer", where we were being trained for being a trainer since our portfolio involves providing training on QM related matters to the staff. So much of the word "train" in a sentence, and I'm getting confused LOL. The whole training was so interesting, I didn't even feel sleepy at all! but of course, everything that is being mentioned is something that I really have interest on. We have to, practically, provide a training of any topic (I chose Japanese Cuisine as my subject) to the assessors, give them some interesting activities to be done (I DIY-ed a mix n' match column together with a crossword puzzle) and of course, evaluation will be carried out. So yeah, I think I like being a trainer. Anyone wants to join my training practise? hahahah

Singing to the music while driving. There are many times when the cars around me thought that I am siao. But, the habit is so addictive, you can't quit it. Speaking of habits, my friend once told me that his worst habit was digging his nose while driving. Which leads me to the incident just now where I looked at the rear mirror while driving back home in a traffic jam and noticed that the cute chick behind my car was digging her nose. By the way, I am a fan of August Malaysia magazine. I now deem Ali Imran K as my favourite columnist.

PROTEIN　BAR をたべていながら、JERRY さんの　NITROTECH をまっている。てんきがあつすぎて、わたしのチョコレートPROTEIN　BAR はとかしてしまった！あつくて時々、ボクサー（I'm not sure if it's the katakana for boxer shorts）しかこないでリビングルームですんでいる。前のうちのおばあさんはいつもまどでみている、ははははは。

I'm taking chocolate protein bars from GNC while waiting for Jerry's Nitrotech. The weather is so hot these days, my protein bars have melted! Also, sometimes I'd just wear nothing but my boxers in the living room because it's just too hot. Seems like the neighbour auntie been noticing a lot from the window, hahahaha.

すきなしゃしんか・　My favourite photographers.

As I am a big fan of photography, particularly in fashion photography, I would spend a tiny time on the weekends flipping fashion magazines (W, Men's Folio, GQ, Oxygen, and even Vogue, Oyster) at Selvan's. Time goes by making me idolising a few photographers.
FASHIONのしゃしんをとることがだいすきだから、ひまならいつもざっしやへいってよんでいます。時々、ざっしをたくさんかってしまった。だんだんゆうめいなしゃしんかのなまえおをよくわかります。いつかいいFASHIONしゃしんかになるといいなあ。

1. David La Chapelle. His photos always come out vibrant, tongue-in-cheek and controversial. Try googling for some other photos he took.

Red Hot Chili Peppers in Pink.

2. Annie Leibovitz. Surreal. Check out the series of photos she took for Vanity Fair, here.

3. Steven Meisel. Great American photographer who always shoot for W, Vogue DSquared and Dolce & Gabbana. My favourite series of his are the ones he took for D&G.

4. Nick Leary. I can't seem to find his photos on the web (only his own photos, that I've found literally), but I've seen the photos he took on Oyster, which are very impressive. Not bad for an Aussie photog. His official website here.

5. Ted Adnan for Malaysian photographers. I've been a fan of his Flickr album (here) since my Uni ages.

There was this Japanese fashion photographer whom I like some time ago.　I had forgotten what his name is, but his concept of serene death in a fashionable way was very famous back then.
大学のとき、日本のFASHIONしゃしｎかが好きだったが、今あのひとのなまえはもうわすれた。あの人のとることは死ぬときと FASHION (haha, I know my Japanese suck; this sentence sounds pretty weird)だって、とてもおもしろい。

There's a fashion show from SEED at Sungei Wang this weekend. Pretty eager to try my 50mm f1.8 again, after such a long time of not touching it. 50mm f.18 is the only extra lense I have, uuuuuu. I desperately need a sugar mummy or a BFF to buy me more expensive lenses (eyes blinking cash symbols、hahaha).

The following matters are two different things:

(a) Just like how Cassie said. I, too, am just too naive. I'm just helping them with their chores while my chores stack up like mad. The more I contribute, the more they expect from me. Now I don't mind learning at all, in fact, I am eager to learn (which I think everything that I face daily is indeed challenging and interesting), but it almost end up to a form of bullying. It just demotivates me into striving for the better. However, I do not wish to change somewhere else because I believe there are still things for me to learn here. Besides, they commented on my personal issues because of those "he said, she said" hearsays circulating around. Huh. Plus, I can't even imagine of them not protecting us: one was so static that they just let us being shoot, while the other reflected the bullets toward us. Way to go, man. -=-;;; I think I should stop whatever that I should be telling because it would just yield to nothing, voicing out or not.

(b) And "housemate", stop nagging la. You promised not to delve into my mattersla. All you know are just to report, report, report to father. Biggest batu api I've seen. Still like that after all these years. Stop the hantu mumbo-jumbo too. And stop threatening that you're gonna die too. How old are you wei. I'm too naive to trust you again.

I wonder if optimism does solve every issue or not. Wah, I can't believe I'm so anal today.

On a side note, I'm going for 2 holidays~! I've decided to bring my grandparents for medical checking up, staying a night with them on the weekends, and going to Tioman thereafter. A month later when Mel comes back, Jacinta, her and myself will be jetting off to Phuket! Yayness!

１・あさおきて、WHEY PROTEIN をのんで、うんどした。JERRYさんはNITROTECHをしょかいして、らいしゅじめてのんでみる。今、GNCのMASS XXX はちょっとむなしいだ。NITROTECHはたのしみにまっている。
1. Woke up and worked out immediately after taking whey protein. Jerry will be getting me the new Nitrotech next week and he says that it would guarantee results in just 14 days. Plus, GNC Mass XXX doesn't seem to work on me recently. Looking forward for that Nitrotech.

２・WELLさんのみせでかみをきった。かみをきられながらWELLさんとしゃしんをとることおそうだんした。
2. Had my haircut at Well's (the shop's called ODI and it's behind Lot 10), and we discussed about photography which leads me into going for another round of night photoshoot at Bukit Bintang.

３．ひるごはんをたべてお金おだすためにPAVILIONへいった。そして、PRAKASHさん、私のだいがくのせんぱいにあったんだ。かれにしゃしんをとられた。PRAKASHさんはLEICAのカメラをうっていた。LEICAをかいたいがねだんがちょうたかいだんよ！
3. Went to Pavilion to get some cash from the ATM (all of the ATMs at Times Square gone kapoot at one go) and hence had my lunch there. Stopped by at this stall promoting Leica digital camera (MY GOD my lust of the year alert! but it's at least RM3k for a unit), and I met Prakash! I've been asking that dude (and vice versa) to take some shots of me since Uni, but both of us were busy so we didn't make it. I've gotten a free shot(taken from Leica digicam, coolness) from him and it was pretty neat.

４・FOURSKINへあたらしいくつをかいにいったかったがMETROJAYAでもっとてきとうなくつがあった。くつは韓国のI=am から。ねだんは５０リンギットだけ。ラッキ！
4. Wanted to go to Fourskin (yes, it's a homophone for a certain part of the male genitalia) at 1U or Sunway Pyramid for a new pair of shoes, but I've found a better pair at Metrojaya. They're from I=am, a Korean brand and it's my favourite brand for shoes. They were only for 50 bucks after discounted, yay! The indigo matches perfectly for a pair of white pants or a pair of khakis, be them short or long.

5. Thought of reformatting my desktop PC but I fell asleep.

６．よるでブキービンタンへPHOTOSHOOTしにいった。だけど、とったしゃしんはあまりよがらない。KL PLAZAでCOFFEE BEANとBERNARD CHANDRANとICLSしかありません。
6. Went to Bukit Bintang for a night photoshoot. It was unsatisfactory; seems like Bukit Bintang has lost its ummph after KL PLaza was partially closed down for maintenance (all they have now are Coffee Bean, my Japanese school and Bernard Chandran). Amber and her boyfriend were watching movie at Pavilion but I had to go home early instead of yum cha-ing with them.

きのうのこうぎのとき、SERENAさんは”イギリスでにほんりょうりレストランのなまえは「わがまま」がある”といった。とてもおもしろいみせのなまえだ。はは。で、けさカエシンさんとMSNでれんらくした。”今、ちょうどだいがくがでるひとはかわいそだ。させやすくて、しごともたくさんあるのにげっきゅうがやすいだ”といった。このちょうしはちゅうごくごで「好洗好用」「させやすいし、ねだんもやすい」というだ。

Serena San mentioned in our class yesterday that there is this Japanese restaurant in UK which the name is called "WAGAMAMA (meaning selfish)", haha. I wonder how the restaurant would come up with that name. After some Googling being done, turns out that Wagamama is a modern noodle bar which serves Pan Asian foods. Sounds high end to me.　Anyway, KaeShin and I were MSN-ing this morning and we discussed about our jobs, our salaries and our bittersweet experiences. And then she mentioned something which was really true: (tht's y ppl always say: degree holder, 好洗好用 [good to wash, good to use] with only tht amount of salary.)

1. People who nag. Apparently, almost everyone I'm related to personally and professionally likes to nag. Sometimes, I find myself to be quite a nagger too. しまうんだ！

2. People who question my ability. I may not be a man of perfection, but everything I do must have a reason.

3. People who think they are politically correct.

4. People who judge the quality of a person by making false assumptions.

5. People who are demotivating.

Unfortunately, all of my pet peeves fall to the person who lives with me right now. Sigh.

I had just came back from a business trip in Penang and Perak yesterday. Though it was pretty tiring, we had a lot of Penang foods in these two days and now I'm worrying about my waistline. More photos and entry about this tomorrow, じゃ！

マレーシアのじゅうたいがだいきらいです。あさとごご５じごろいつもくるまはひんぱんいおこっています。うちからほんしゃまでだいたい１時間はｎかかります。そして、マレーシアじんのうんてんすることがあぶないです。みんあはわがままです。

Malaysian traffic really turns me off, especially in the morning and at about 5:00pm. The journey from my house to the office which normally takes me minimum 30 minutes has now turned to at least an hour and half, which means I need to wake up early in the morning, I mean, pronto. Anyone has a house nearby USJ Subang? I make a good housemate haha. Besides, Malaysians turn nasty when it comes to driving. I won't deny it myself either as a Malaysian driver heh.

こんばんは。TO MY READERS IN MY PREVIOUS ENGLISH BLOG,おひさしぶりですね。日本語が上手になりたいのでできるだけこのBLOGを日本語でかきます。このBLOG のなまえはケツメーシのあたらしいうた「ふゆものがたり」からできました。かんじはまだまだだめですから、ほとんどひらがなとカタカナと英語でかきます。COMMENTS　ARE UTMOST APPRECIATED.よろしくおねがいします！

I've always wanted to continue blogging but my final year and the recent transition from a student to a salaryman has been extremely exhausting. Now that things have settled down little by little, I can finally get the time to blog again. YAY! I don't want to let my creative juices waste just like that, WAKAKAKAKA kembang......

Anyway, the title of the blog [Fuyu Monogatari] is derived from Ketsumeishi's latest song, which also means Winter Tale. Not sure why I'd pick that up as the blog name, I'm quite a sucker for titles and such.
